Why we exist
Being told where to go isn't the same as getting there.
Many families are handed a phone number or a referral and left to figure out the rest. FCL is being developed to help families navigate and follow through — working alongside existing services, with the goal of keeping children safely with their families.
How we aim to help families navigate and follow through
- 1
Understand what's needed
Listen first: what the family needs and what's in the way.
- 2
Clear the barriers
Rides, eligibility questions, schedules, missed calls.
- 3
Keep following up
Stay with it until help is actually reached.
- 4
Close the loop
Confirm the family got what they needed.
Where things stand
FCL is still being developed and can't yet work with families directly or accept personal information. Until then, the resources on this site are the best place to start.
